A funeral will be held Thursday, December 26th, 2002 for 79-year-old Alma C. Baudendistel of Maryland Heights, formerly of Perryville, who died Monday, December 23rd at the Brookfield Nursing Home.

She was born August 24th, 1923 in Uniontown, the daughter of Louis E. and Julianna (Ponder) Schott who both preceded her in death.

She married Rudolph Weiss on May 4, 1954. He preceded her in death.

She married Francis E. Gibbar on January 28th, 1971. He preceded her in death.

She married Louis J. Baudendistel. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by four stepsons and eight stepdaughters: Ernest Weiss of Perryville; Glennon Weiss of Wicksburg, Alabama; Barbara Huber of Decatur, Illinois; Rita Laurentius of Maryland Heights; Darlene McLemore of Jackson; Velma Oswald of Perryville; Donald Baudendistel of St. Charles; Louis Baudendistel Jr. of Perryville; Nancy Hagan of Perryville; Joan L'Hote of St. Louis and Marilyn Berkbuegler of Perryville.

She is also survived by two brothers, Walter Schott of Perryville and August Schott of Quincy, California and one sister, Hilda Meyer of Perryville.

She is also survived by many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a stepson, Bernard Weiss, three sisters and three brothers.

She was a cook at the Daughters of Charity, Intersection Restaurant and City Tavern.

She was a former member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville and member of the St. Blaise Catholic Church in Maryland Heights.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, December 26th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 79-year-old Alma C. Baudendistel of Maryland Heights, formerly of Perryville, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 26th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz C.M. will officiate.
