Michael Murray Midgette, 23, of Norfolk, died Sunday, June 9, 1974, at 3 a.m. in Virginia Beach Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk and a son of Mrs. Marjorie Austin Midgette [Banks] of Norfolk and the late John Riggs Midgette, Sr. He was a member of Rock Church on Kempsville Road.
Beside his mother he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Jennifer J. Tyson of Virginia Beach, VA; five brothers: John R. Midgette, Thomas Gary Midgette and Robin Dale Midgette of Norfolk, Howard E. Midgette of Kansas and Stephen J. Midgette of Maryland.
Funeral services Tuesday in Rock Church by the Rev. John Giminez, pastor. Burial will follow in the family cemetery in Buxton at 3 p.m.
