Pauline Bragg

Pauline Bragg, 80, of Shady Spring, formerly of Abraham, died Friday, May 25, 2007, at the Raleigh Center at Daniels following a long illness.

Born May 14, 1927, at Bragg, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence Radford Bragg.

Pauline was a homemaker and was of the Freewill Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Leonard Bragg, Lillie Mae Bragg, Mary Jane Bragg, Lee Roy Bragg and Oscar Bragg; and great-grandchildren , April Dawn Plumley and Lewis Ferrell Dodson.

Survivors include her daughters, Gracie Bennett of Shady Spring and Ruby Bonds and husband, Eddie, of Grandview; brothers, Jimmy Bragg and wife, Carol, of Abraham and Russell Bragg and wife, Judy , of Pluto; grandchildren, Lisa McMillion and husband, Denny, Melanie Plumley and husband, Kenneth, Beckie Smith and husband, Roger, and Leonard Blevins and wife, Misty; seven great-grandchildren, Jamie Blevins, Leslie McMillion, Stacie McMillion, Anthony Plumley, Shayle Smith, Jacob Blevins and Chelsea Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel, Beckley, with the Rev. Frankie Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in Goodson Cemetery No. 1, Abraham.

Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Plumley, Roger Smith Jr., Leonard Blevins, Wayne Bragg, Denny McMillion and Johnny Smith.
