Hazel Vernice Martin, age 89, of Mokane, Missouri passed away at Fulton Presbyterian Manor on Friday, February 6, 2009.
She was born October 18, 1919, in Callaway County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Roy and Anna (Hall) Binggeli. On July 10, 1938 she was united in marriage to Delbert Martin, he preceded her in death on October 1, 1989.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one brother, Delbert (Helen) Binggeli of Fulton, Missouri; two nephews, Gene (Betty) Sullins of Forsyth, Missouri and Steve (Barbara) Benggeli of Fulton, Missouri; two nieces, Sharon (Robert) Martin of New Bloomfield, Missouri and Brenda Keeling of Fulton, Missouri; four great-nephews, Tim Martin, Robert Keeling, Darren Binggeli and Jason Binggeli; four great-great-nephews, Jonathan Keeling, Eliza and Elisha Keeling and Andrew Binggeli; several nieces and nephews on her husbands side of the family.
Hazel and her husband worked as house parents at the Missouri School for the Deaf in Fulton.
Funeral Services will be 2:00PM, Monday, February 9, 2009, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverand John Fussnel officiating. Visitation will be 1:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Steedman Cemetary.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Community Hospices of America.
