Robert Mills, 69, died Friday, Feb. 2, 1979, in Lutheran Hospital.
He was born in Peru May 27, 1909, the son of Robert and Margaret Neilson Mills, and lived there until 1952, employed by W. C. Redmon & Sons basket factory. He later managed motels in the southwestern part of the U.S. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake Twp.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Webb Mills, Fort Wayne; a son, Robert Lee Mills, Fort Wayne; a sister Gertrude Mills, Peru; and two grandchildren.
Services were to be today at 2 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake Twp., followed by burial at Lindenwood Cemetery. Arrangements were by D. O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home.
