Mrs. Pinkerton, a resident of Newark 14 years came here from Columbus, but lived most of her life in New Vienna, where she was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was born in Clinton County, July 1, 1867, the daughter of Henry and Lydia Hedrick.
Besides her husband, she leaves six sons and one daughter; Harry L. Pinkerton, Sr., Moses R. Pinkerton, George Kenneth Pinkerton and Mrs. Walter Miller, all of Columbus, Forest Pinkerton of New Vienna, C.P. Pinkerton of Washington C.H., and W. H. Pinkerton of the home; also 24 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Martha J. Williams of Dayton and Mrs. Charles Parrott of Greenfield. Four brothers are deceased.
The body is at the Gutliph and Henderson funeral home where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday with burial in Wilson Cemetery.
