Death claimed on Monday one of the few remaining pioneers of Pischelville, when Mrs. Vac Dobrichovsky passed away. She was about 79 years of age. The final summons was answered at 6:45 a.m.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon. Brief rites will be held at the Sandoz mortuary in Verdigre at one p.m. and at two p.m. at the Pischelville Hall. Burial will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles Mlady of Verdigre, Mrs. Rudolph Pavilk and Mrs. John Simanek of Verdel; 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and three brothers, Frank Ruzicka and William Ruzicka of Verdel and Joseph Ruzicka of Verdigre.
A native of Bohemia, Barbara Ruzicka, came to America at an early age. A few years later, she came to Knox county and has ever since lived around Pischelville.
