RADFORD, Dec. 28—Charles C. Atkins, 73, died Tuesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Otis Broyles. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Broyles of Radford, Mrs. David Ruddell, Raymond, Wash., and Mrs. Luther A. Akers, Radford; a son, Charles C. Akins, Jr., Belsprings; two brothers, O. O. Atkins, Radford, A. A. Atkins. Abingdon, Ill; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was conducted at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home today at 2 p.m. Burial was in Sunrise Cemetery.
