Arthur (Audie) W. Patterson of Surprise, Arizona, died peacefully on January 26, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Diane M. Patterson. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Thomas and Goldean (Benson) Patterson. He is survived by his son, Thomas Patterson, four daughters, June Feneran, Debbie Donahue, Christine Karr and Yvonne Vazquez and four step-children, Matthew Cary, Mark Cary, Janine Rubano and Jennifer Bangert. He is also survived by his brother, James B. Patterson, and 19 grandchildren. Audie treasured his family, friends, "having a cup" and being on his tractor. He was President of APR Enterprises, a member of the Phoenix Assoc. of Realtors and a member of Operating Engineers Local No. 3. A memorial service will be held on February 6 at 12:30 p.m. at The Father's House, 126 Peabody Road, Vacaville, CA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association (800-242-8721).
