Harry M. Lingg, 74, residing at 1008 Madison street, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at his home after an extended illness.
The decedent was born on March 15, 1869, in Pennsylvania and had lived in Porter county since he was a boy, making his home in Kouts, Hebron and Valparaiso.
Surviving are his widow, two sons, Emory and Charles and one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Beach, all of Valparaiso; three stepchildren, Harry Schroeder, of Hebron; Mrs. Harold Gustafson, of Valparaiso, and Capt. Donald E. Riley, of the U.S. Army; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Christian church in Kouts.
Friends may call at the Kosanke Brothers' funeral home in Kouts after 7:30 o'clock this evening.
