Faye Wilson, 85, of Markle, died at 3:40 AM on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at her home.
Mrs. Wilson was a 1940 graduate of East Union High School (Wells County) and a member of the Markle United Methodist Church. She worked as a production inspector for over 39 years at the General Electric (Broadway Plant) in Fort Wayne, retiring in January 1987. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was born April 26, 1922 in Wells County, Indiana, a daughter of Charles T. and Hazel G. (Graham) Folk. She was united in marriage to Everett L. Wilson on July 22, 1950 in Wells County, Indiana. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include: two (2) sons, Greg Wilson of Markle and Garland Wilson of Huntington; one (1) daughter, Gaylene Dalrymple of Shoshone, Idaho, eight (8) grandchildren and eight (8) great-grandchildren; three (3) sisters, Maxine Collins of Fort Wayne, Margaret Furnas of Mentone, and Betty Rodenbeck of Huntington.
She was preceded in death by four (4) sisters, Helen Solloway, Berniece McBride, Dorma Greene and Phyllis "Peg" Kyle; and two (2) brothers, Richard Folk and Robert Folk.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at the Myers Funeral Home, Markle Chapel, 415 North Lee Street, Markle, IN 46750. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Markle United Methodist Church, 145 West Morse Street, Markle, Indiana with Pastor Kathie Jones officiating. There will be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the service.
Interment will be at the Prospect Cemetery north of Uniondale, Indiana.
Preferred memorial donations in honor of Mrs. Wilson can be made to the Markle Fish & Game Club Park Foundation, c/o Myers Funeral Home, PO Box 403, Markle, IN 46770.
