George W. Drury, Sr., was found dead in bed yesterday morning at the home of his son, Dr. G. W. Drury, Jr, at Forsyth. It is supposed that his death was caused by heart disease.
The funeral will take place today.

Funeral of George W. Drury, Sr.
The funeral of George W. Drury, Sr., was held at Forsyth at 10 o'clock yesterday morning, Rev. E.M. Brown of the Baptist church conducted the services. The burial was at Boiling Springs cemetery.
George W. Drury Sr, was born in Kentucky, Aug. 9, 1811. He was among the early settlers of Morgan county, Ills., afterwards moving to Macon county, where he had lived for thirty-four years. He was married June 4, 1839, and was the father of nine children, five sons and four daughters. A widow, four sons and one daughter survive him. He was a member of the Christian church.
