"John J. THOMAS was born on 16 August 1879 in Wyandot County, Ohio (Birth Certificate.) The son of German immigrants. John was only 5'4" inches tall.

In May 1945, he was a repairman for farm implements in Erie County, Ohio.

He died on 20 May 1945 at the age of 65 in Grand Forest, Erie County, Ohio.
John was buried on 23 May 1945.

Note: John died of cerebral compression due to a skull fracture sustained when he was struck by a car while he was walking to mass (Death Certificate) ----

Spouse: Elizabeth "Lizzie" BENTZ and John were married on 28 April 1903 in Wyandot County, Ohio. She died from Thyroid cancer.

Children were:
Earl Louis/ Mechanic for Ohio National; 320 S. 4th Street, Upper Sandusky. COD: Shock and internal injuries when his auto collided with a truck (from death certificate).
Esther Marie: Bookkeeper for Daybrook Hydraulic; Upper Sandusky.
