--Daughter of Thomas Spratt, one of the earliest settlers in the area who came down from Pennsylvania. His farm lay near what is now Caswell Rd. & Randolph Rd., near the back of Presbyterian Hospital complex.
--Ann married John Barnett; 5 children: Mary, Ann, William W., Susanna, & a son whose name is not known.
--Her original grave was near her daughter Susanna Barnett Smartt & family, on the Smartt farm which was off Nations Ford Road. The remains of those from that graveyard were moved to Sharon Memorial Park in 1988.
