Born in New York City, he was the son of George and Ida Johnson Parker .
He had formerly lived in Pittstown and had lived for many years in Oradell before moving to Dumont in 1997.
He was as accounting clerk for General Motors Corp. in Newark until retiring.
His first wife, Lucy Smith Parker , died in 1961 and his second wife, Trudy Nielsen Parker , died in 1979.
Survivors are a son, Dale Parker of Dumont; two daughters, Virginia Fleming of Hampton and Mildred Kursa of Roscoe, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were scheduled to be held yesterday at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in Flemington. Interment was in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown.
