D.B. Hudson, age 90, of Elkhart, Texas died January 22, 2011, at Elkhart Oaks Care Center. Burial is at Land of Memory Cemetery, Palestine, Texas. D.B. was born in Sweetwater, Texas on December 31, 1920, to the late Joe Hudson and Mary Lou Cook Hudson. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Era Lee Boykin on October 19, 1947 and was preceded in death by her in August of 1995; and a brother, Elmer Hudson, killed in World War II. He is survived by daughter, Mary Elizabeth Raines; brother, L.J. Hudson; grandchildren, Stacy Ottnot, and Chip Raines; and great-grandchildren, Micaela Ash, Reagan Ash, and Amelia Ottnot.
