DAVID ARNETT
David Arnett, 62, RFD 2, died at 10:30 a.m. today in Porter Memorial hospital after a six-year illness.
Born June 5, 1893, in Salyersville, Ky., he was the son of Morton and Mary Arnett and lived here 12 years, coming from Michigan.
He was an employee of Indiana Steel Products company, a member of Adams Christian church and a World War I veteran.
Surviving are his widow, Alice Mosier Arnett, whom he married March 8, 1943; two daughters, Carolyn and Joyce, at home; three sons, John, Charles and Richard, all at home; six brothers, Kelson and Edgar of Lake View, Mich., Harris, Ernest and Glenn of Morley, Mich., and Homer of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and two sisters, Mrs. Mae Blossom of Coryuna, Mich., and Mrs. Ann Fields of Shepherd, Mich.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Bartholomew Funeral home, and burial will be in Graceland cemetery, Kouts. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Thursday until services.
