Lewis C. Arndt, age 57 years, a resident of Tefft, Ind., for forty-five years, died Friday at 7 p.m. at his home in that place, following an illness of complications of diseases.
He was born on February 24, 1873, at La Porte, and moved to Tefft in 1885. In 1898 he was united in marriage at Kouts to Lena Wandrey, of that place. Surviving are the widow, two sons, George, of Tefft, and Carl, a member of the U. S. regular army, and one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Borth, of Kouts.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, at 1 p.m., at the home in Tefft, conducted by Rev. T. O. Hickman, of Wilders. Burial will be in Kouts cemetery.
