Zella Elizabeth Aagard Sutherland, age 101, passed away March 18, 2009 in Mona, Utah.
She was born August 28, 1907 in Levan, Utah to Ollie Sonnie and Sarah Jane Jensen Aagard. She married Alger Elmer Sutherland on May 17, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple February 1965.
She was an active member of the LDS church and served in several positions. She loved children and spent many years as a school lunch lady in Mona and Nephi schools. She was well known for making taffy every Halloween and spent many happy years sharing with kids of all ages. She lived by her slogan, "Life is good". She leaves many happy memories, words of advice, and wisdom.
She is survived by her children Bill (Pat) Sutherland and Ann (Norman) Wall of Mona, UT; daughter-in- law, Yvona Sutherland of Santaquin; 14 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren; brother, Eugene (Mary) Aagard of Levan.
