Obituary - The Topeka Daily Capitol, Topeka, KS. 11th July 1920, page 12 B - Column 6
"RAGSDALE - Susan Ragsdale, 83, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Adelia Black, 712 East Fourth St., Saturday morning. Funeral services will be held from the Third Presbyterian Church, Fourth & Branner Streets, at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial in Topeka Cemetery." Note: Spelling errors corrected.
Note from Rosemary Ryckman January 4, 2020, "James Wiley and Sarah Abigail Webb. James and Sarah are my 2nd great -Grandparents. I find my Grandfather tax list with his Brothers and his Mom. I knew thru DNA that we were related to the Ragsdales, but could not connect the dots until I find where they were paying taxes on their land. James and Sarah six kids, my Grandfather and Susannah Abigail Wiley Ragsdale being the youngest. James's Dad was Henry Wiley, he was married to an Elizabeth Tinsley (she must of died young they had three kids Thomas, Nancy and James) . The census shows that Henry Wiley and Samuel Webb were neighbors before James and Sarah got married. Sarah was deaf..."
