Passed away Wednesday March 14, 2001. Vanda was born November 1, 1930 in Alamo Township, the daughter of Hiram and Elsie (Price) Brinks, and has been a life-long Kalamazoo area resident. She was preceded in death by her father, Hiram; mother, Elsie; step-mother, Agnes; brothers, Herman, John, Byron; and 2 grandchildren, Christina and Jennifer. Surviving are her children, Karen (Roger) Lane, David (Fern) Quinn, Larry Quinn, Ricky Quinn, Linda Quinn, Michael Quinn; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, James Brinks, Ruby Layne, Bertha Muenzer, Irene Ford; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the LANGELAND Family Funeral Homes MEMORIAL CHAPEL 622 S. Burdick St. 343-1508 Interment will follow in Alamo Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the chapel on Friday from 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family.
