Nevils - Lester F. DeLoach, 69, died Saturday in the Bulloch County Hospital after a short illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Bulloch County and was a farmer in the Nevils Community.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lorena Cowart DeLoach of Pembroke; four daughters, Mrs. Bill Crawford of Pembroke, Mrs. Jerry Johnson of Moultrie, Mrs. Clifton Royal of Hilton Head Island, S.C. and Mrs. Fred Ives of Moscow, Pa.; a son, Charlie C. DeLoach of Statesboro; a brother, Felix DeLoach of Statesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Grady Futch of Pembroke, Mrs. Leroy Cook and Mrs. Malcolm Hodges, both of Savannah; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Red Hill Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Barnes Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge.
