Leah Bennett Christensen, age 99, died December 31, 1991, Delta.

Born November 27, 1892, Holden, to Samuel and Martha Foremaster Bennett. Married

Lorenzo Henry Christensen December 17, 1913, in the Manti LDS Temple; he died March 19, 1947. Received teaching certificate from Millard Stake Academy in 1911. Active member LDS Church, serving in many callings including ordinance worker, stake missionary, and full time mission in Florida.

Survived by sons, Gordon and Eileen and Sam and Norma, Salt Lake City; Homer and Grace, Anderson, Calif; Talmage and Shirley, St. George; daughters, Mrs. Richard (Miriam) Schmutz, St. George; Gay, Lazear, Colo.; son-in-law, Ned Church, Delta; 27 grandchildren; 83 great-grandchildren; 16 great great-grandchildren; sister, Artie Thornton, St George. Preceded in death by three sons, two daughters, two granddaughters, four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Saturday, January 4, 1992, 11 a.m., in the Delta 3rd Ward, 197 South 300 West. Friends call at the Church, Saturday 10-10:45 a.m. Burial, Delta Cemetery under the direction of Nickle Mortuary.
