LANNIE EDWARD VINCENT

Lannie Edward Vincent, 68, Decatur 1, died Thursday at 11:30 p.m. at Hartselle Hospital.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church, Rev. A.B. VanArsdale officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Guntharp Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include two brothers, G.C. Vincent, Eva; W.E. Vincent, San Antonia, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Elma Douglas; Houston, Texas; a number of nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be M.E. Holland, Louie Glenn, Elbert Weaver, Claude McRae and Sonny McEntire.

Honorary pallbearers will be World War I veterans.

Mr. Vincent was a veteran of World War I and a charter member of the World War I veterans organization.

He was a maintenance superintendent for the Alabama Boys Industrial School, Birmingham, for approximately 25 years, and a member of Central Baptist Church.

The body will remain at the funeral home until time to be taken to the church, where it will lie in state until the services.
