Their children included Amanda M., Melusena Elizabeth., William D., Sarah Victoria, Milton L., Joseph L., and Samuel H. The Gruber family moved to LaSalle Co, IL, in 1856. Susannah's twin sister, Anna Maria, married Daniel Kerschner and that family moved to Fayette Co, IN.
