Baptised 1833 at First Church of Christ, Perry Center.

The Perry Record – May 29, 1924
The subject of this notice was a daughter of Patrick and Mary Stebbins McEntee and was born in Perry on February 9th, 1833, on a farm in the northeast part of this town. She was the tenth of a family of14 children and was the last surviving member of the family. Her father died in 1878 and her mother in 1883. Her grandfather on her father's side—a Scotchman—lived to an age of more than 100 years.
Here she grew to womanhood and was married on December 30th, 1867, to Thomas Olin, who passed away in November, 1883. In 1889, she removed to Buffalo, afterward to Rochester, where she resided for a period of 20 years, then returned to Buffalo, where she lived nearly five years.
Notwithstanding her advanced age, her intellect was keen and she has enjoyed fairly good health, being active and taking a lively interest in the affairs of the country as well as of her home town, for which she always cherished tender memories.
She was a fine type of womanhood, a genuine Christian, cheery and sunny in her disposition, with a sane philosophy and a keen sense of humor. She grew old gracefully, retaining her charm of manner and sympathetic understanding of youth, with the result that she not only got joy out of life for herself, but imparted it to others.
Her long and useful life will be a tender memory to those with whom she came into contact, and she will be sincerely mourned by all who knew her.
As stated previously in these columns in connection with the notice of her death, her remains were laid at rest in the family burial lot in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Perry Center.
