Ralph, the three year old son of Harvey Sharp, died near Monrovia last Monday morning of congestion of the bowels after an illness of but twenty four hours. Harvey Sharp was a formerly a resident of this vicinity and his many friends here sympathise with him. His sister, Mrs. Harvey Calvert, attended the funeral on Wednesday at Monrovia.
Son of W.H. Sharp and Ella R. Best Sharp of Monrovia. Grandson of Aaron S. Best, Monrovia pioneer.
W. H. Sharp was engaged in the lumber business at Monrovia, then later in banking at the State Bank of Effingham. Eventually Mr. and Mrs. Sharp ventured to Helena Missouri where Mr. Sharp was vice president of of the Exchange Bank of Helena.
