Dies Saturday
Local Service Station Operator Dies in Memphis Hospital
Rites This Afternoon
John L. Helm , 28, of this city, died at the Baptist Hospital
in Memphis Saturday night following a short illness.
Funeral services were held at the Coffeeville Baptist
church this afternoon. Burial was made in Coffeeville
Cemetery with Williams Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Helm was an employee of Billups Petroluem Co.,
and operted a service station here.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eunice Helm and two
sons, Larry and Donald Helm, also his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. E.T. Helm, Coffeeville; six sisters, Mrs. Alvin Price,
Oakland; Mrs. Howard Armstrong, Oakland; Mrs. Bilbo
Fly, Mrs. J.D. Tribble, Miss Elizabeth Helm and MIss
Joanne Helm, all of Coffeeville and a brother Sgt.
Thomas Helm, Denver , Colo.
Pall bearers were: Miller Daves, S.T Armstrong, E.T.
Armstrong, Jimmy Russell, C.M. Jordan, Hal Heafner,
Greenwood.
