She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ironton. She spent all her life in Lawrence County.
Her husband, Franklin Blankenship, preceded her in death, May 13, 1993.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today at Woodland Cemetery in Ironton, with Rev. Dennis Strawn officiating.
There will be no visitation.
