Mr. Campbell, born at Cedar Point, Erie County, March 24, 1891, resided here 37 years, coming from Wakeman. He was a former tool and die maker at National Tube Division, Lorain Works, retiring 15 years ago. He also served as a custodian at Oberlin College.
He attended Oberlin Methodist Church, was a member of Oberlin Odd Fellow Lodge and Knights of Pythias.
Survivors are his widow, Lucille; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Sheffield of Lorain and Mrs. Arlene Sheffield of Elyria; four sons, Murton of Wellington, Donald and H. Lowell both of Oberlin and Richard of Geneva, Neb.; 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a brother, George of Wakeman. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Cowling Funeral Home, 228 South Main St. from 2 - 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday and Monday.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery.

Harold C. Campbell, 71 stricken with heart attack
Harold C. (Harry) Campbell, 297 S. Professor, died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday. He was stricken at his home, 297 S. Professor, and was take to Allen Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival at 1:45 A.M.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Cowling Funeral Home and burial was in Brownhelm Cemetery.
Mr. Campbell, 71, was employed as a tool and diemaker at National Tube Co. in Lorain for many years. After his retirement 15 years ago he was employed for several years as a custodian at Oberlin College.
Mr. Campbell was born March 24, 1891 at Cedar Point. The family came to Oberlin from Wakeman 37 years ago.
Mr. Campbell attended First Methodist Church and was a member of the IOOF and Knights of Pythias lodges.
