George Gulliford

May 19, 1920 - Sept. 17, 2002

A veterian of the United States Air Force, George E. Gulliford, 82, worked for Microtech as a quality assurance manager for 3 yrs.

Mr. Gulliford married Margaret Moore in 1971 in San Jose, and was the secretary and photographer for the Paradise Mens Garden club.

He enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

Mr. Gulliford is survived by his wife, Margaret of Oroville, children Susan Palato of Bakersfield, Barbara Campbell of San Jose, Arthur Gulliford of San Jose, Martie Adams of Santa Rosa, John Matthews of Washington, Carol Matthews of Chico, Joe Matthews of Chico and Kathy Mathews of Oroville, 13 grandchildren, three and a half great grandchildren, and one sister, Mary Johnston of Pa.

Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. at Prestige Assisted Living of Oroville.

He will be buried at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose.

Bidwell Chapel handled the arrangements.
