Prior to marriage Noma Rebecca Boedecker was a teacher at Republic, Missouri. When she married, Noma became a full-time homemaker. Noma and Paul had one child, William 'Billy' Burgess, when she was about 45 years old and was quite the doting mother.
Family was Noma's mainstay and helped raise and direct a few of us. She was a strong individual and self-reliant to almost the end. The time with her and the weekends spent at the lake house will always be cherished. Her loving and thoughtful ways will remain in our hearts forever.
