Elizabeth Elle "Lida" Higgins was born to James D. and Abenaide Mead Higgins on 5 Sept 1870 in Kentucky. She had seven siblings. Lida worked as a domestic servant all of her life, caring for many families. Lida never married, and is buried beside her brother Lewis and his wife with whom she lived at the end of her life.
