Mrs. Louise Fletcher Miller, 88,died at 4:50 pm Sunday at her home in Clinchport after a lingering illness. She was a lifelong resident of Scott County and the daughter of the late Jimmy and Nancy Arnold Fletcher. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. Willie McDavid, Mrs. James McDavid, Mrs. M.E. Taylor and Miss Nancy Miller, all of Clinchport; two sons, Pat Miler of Kingsport and Brad Miller of Shelbyville IN; one sister, Mrs. Annie McNew of Clinchport; 41 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm Tuesday in the Brick Church of Rye Cove Community. Rev. James McMurray and Rev. Clifton McDavid will officiate. Burial will be in the McDavid Cemetery. Grandson will serve as pallbearers. The body will remain at the Scott County funeral Home until one hour prior to services.
