Joseph E. Wilcox, 89 years old, died at 10:20 o'clock this morning at the home of his niece, Mrs. George Reiboldt, three miles east of Neosho on Route 5.
Mr. Wilcox had lived in this community for 14 years, coming here from Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He was a retired farmer and had been ill about a year. He was a member of the Congregational Church.
Surviving, besides Mrs. Reiboldt, is a brother, Gerald Wilcox, McCook, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Clark-Bigham Chapel.
The Rev. Homer Massey will officiate, and burial will be in IOOF Cemetery under Clark-Bigham Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Harry Stark, Myron Caulkins, Joe Randol, John Williams, Glenn Morse and Robert Randolph.
