Earl Hays, b. 1919 in Floyd Co. KY, died in August 1999 in Kettering Ohio. Earl was the son of Humbert and Carrie Cody Hays.
Earl lived in Kettering Ohio from 1963 until his death. He married Gloria Harrison in 1962 in New Port, KY. They became the parents of 2 children: Theresa and Tony. Theresa died in Sept. 2007 in Alabama.

Earl at the age of 13 began his career as a movie projector operator in the local movie theatres. It was his life work and passion for most of his working years. After his retirement he had a home theater in the basement of his home where he enjoyed viewing old classical movies and cartoons.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Hansel and Elmo, and sister, Irma. Survivors include his wife, Gloria, children: Theresa and Tony, other children: Barbara Jean, Darrell Eugene and Ricky Dewayne, 5 grandchildren and brother Ronnie of Florida.
