Mr. Neese died in an automobile accident in Washington County on Monday, January 17, 2011. He was 80 years old.
Mr. Neese was the son of the late Eddie and Evie Hogue Neese. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and avid outdoorsman. Ne was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Neese of North Carrollton; six daughters, Patricia N. High of North Carrollton, Annie Murray of Newton, Betty Brown of Greenville, Nadine Terrell of North Carrollton, Debbie James of Buffalo, MO, Betty Lou Whitaker of Grenada; four sons, Danny Neese of Decatur, Robert Neese of Decatur, Charles Sapp of Coffeeville, Curtis Sapp of Greenwood; one sister, Hazel Sproles of Leland; two brothers, Harold Neese of Holcomb, Olan Neese of Meridian; twenty grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Carrollton man dies of injuries after collision
CARROLLTON — A Carroll County man died of injuries suffered in a collision on U.S. 82 in Greenville on Monday, according to Ben Williams of the Mississippi Highway Patrol. The man's wife was also injured.
Marvin Neese, 80, of Carrollton and his wife, Mary, turned from Seven Oaks Road in Greenville onto U.S. 82, where their 1991 Ford Ranger struck a 2003 Nissan Altima driven by Taquana Smith, 27, of Memphis, who was going east on 82. Neese's car then crossed the median and hit a 2011 Buick driven by Alfred O'Neil, 25, of Greenville, that was traveling west, Williams reported.
