Nov 9, 1905 - Humboldt Independent - Word was received from Colorado that Dan Lincoln had died and his body would be shipped here for burial arriving here Thursday morning. There has been no arrangements for the funeral yet.


Dec 29, 1904 - Humboldt County Republican - Dan Lincoln died in Pueblo, Colorado on Nov 7, 1905 of consumption, aged 4 years.

Deceased was born in Round Grove, Illinois where he lived until 1880 when he removed to Iowa, his home was in Humboldt for some time, where his father was in business and later in Livermore, where his father ran the St. James hotel.

Dan Lincoln was engaged most of the time in railroading from 1881 till 1902 after which he was in the lumber business which occupied his time until of his last sickness.

During the past two years he was in Minneapolis, having charge of the lumber business of the Imperial Elevator company of Winnipeg and it was there he contracted consumption. (I can not read the rest of the obituary)
