TECUMSEH - William B. Shavalier, 71 years old, died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Morenci Nursing Home where he had been a patient for the last three months.
He was born May 6, 1890 in Moorland Township, Muskegon, and was the son of Darwin and Kittie Eva Shavalier. He married Lillian Mansfield Aug. 2, 1922. He retired from the Tecumseh Products in 1958.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, William of Evans Lake and James of Tecumseh; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at the Collins-Corkery Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Wittrup officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
