"Linda Jean Fitzgerald, age 57, of Triplett, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2004, at her home.
She was born February 21, 1947 in Mendon, Missouri, the daughter of Leon and Nelda (Stephenson) Roberts. She graduated from Northwestern High School. She married Garland R. Fitzgerald on May 16, 1964, at Mendon, Missouri. Garland preceded her in death on December 2, 1995. Linda had been a cook for the Northwestern School District. She was a member of the Triplett Christian Church Ladies Aid Society and had attended both the Triplett Christian Church and the Mendon United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Karl Ray Fitzgerald, Columbia, Missouri; one daughter, Lori Spencer, Mendon, Missouri; one sister, Fran Dooley, Carrollton, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Dallas and Deanna Spencer, Marshall, Missouri. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Joyce Henry.
Graveside services were held on Monday, August 2, 2004 at 1:00 p.m., at the Newcomer Cemetery, Mendon, Missouri, with Gail Brown officiating. Funeral arrangements were by Gibson Funeral Homes, Inc., Brunswick, Missouri."
