Mrs. Ada Scott Bickerton, wife of Edwin J. Bickerton, died in Johnstown Memorial Hospital Saturday, March 7, 1953. Mrs. Bickerton had been in ill health but her condition took a sudden turn for the worse and she was rushed to the hospital for treatment but failed to rally.
Mrs. Bickerton was born in Somerset Township, this county, a daughter of the late Albert R. and Cambiella Huffman Scott.
The Bickertons resided at Monessen for a number of years previous to moving to Johnstown. Mrs. Bickerton was a member of the Baptist Church.
Besides the husband, one brother, Walter B. Scott, Waynesburg, survives. A brother, Joseph II Scott, Uniontown, preceded her in death.
