Betty Jo McMillian

Betty Jo McMillian, age 84 years, passed away February 24, 2008 at her residence in Farmington.

She was born March 2, 1923 in Brandsville, Missouri to Charles Perry and Florence M. (Capshaw) Cresap.

On May 21, 1946 she was united in marriage to John McMillian, who preceded her in death in 2000. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Robert, Willis Perry, and Harold Richard Cresap; five sisters, Grace Fuller, Clarice Cresap, Myrtle Files, Lola Tribble, and Mary Smalley.

Surviving are: one daughter, Patricia McMillian of Farmington; one son, Mike McMillian of Doe Run; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; other family members, and a host of friends.

She was a member of the Farmington Freewill Baptist Church at the time of her death.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, February 27th, at 12 noon at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Brandsville, Missouri, conducted by Rev. Roger Hogan. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 26th, from 6-7 PM at the White Funeral Home in Ironton.
