Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery Thursday at 11:00 a.m. for former long-time Maricopa resident Vera N. (Munding) Van Flick, 84. The Rev. John Wilcox and the officers of the Taft Chapter #323 Order of the Eastern Star will officiate and the services.
Mrs. Van Flick was born in Corning on September 3, 1911 and passed away at the Carson-Tahoe Hospital November 10, 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Martin Van Flick in March 1994.
Her survivors include a brother, Robert Alkire of Gold Hill, Oregon; a son John Munding of Lone Pine four grandchildren, Carol Pino and John Munding, both of Lone Pine, and Martim Munding and Carey Munding, both of Costa Mesa; and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home Wednesday until 8:30 p.m. and again Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. to pay their respects.
