She was born on Aug. 12, 1923 in Salem Twp. Wyandot Co. to the late Harry L. and Ethel H. (Justus) Beidelschies. On Aug. 24, 1944 she married Melford "Pete" Binau in Greenup, KY. He preceded her in death on 1989. Surviving are daughters Mrs. Bernard (Rachelle "Rae") Kuenzli, Upper Sandusky, Tanya Binau, Upper Sandusky, 4 granddaughters Monique R. Ebert, Renee L. (Rick) Gagnon, Heather A. Kuenzli, Briannne K. (Chad) Smith, 6 great grandchildren Cohl Gagnon, Kate Gagnon, Jordan Ebert, Haeleigh Ebert, Seth Smith and Pete Smith. She is preceded in death by brothers Alan, John, Paul, Robert, Russell Beidelschies, sisters Donna Ruth Schoenberger, Leah Comstock and Mary Jane Davis.
She was member of North Salem Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Binau retired as a case worker from Wyandot County Job and Family Servcies and then from First Citizens National Bank in 1983, previously she and her husband were administrators at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center from 1960-1965 and she had taught school at Salem School for 2 years.
She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.
Traveling, watching sporting events and vegetable gardening were some of her enjoyments. Mrs. Bianu was an Ohio State University and Cleveland Indians fan.
She belonged to a travel club.
Funeral services will be held Mon. Feb. 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Jarrod Schaaf officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Sun. Feb. 5, 2012 from 1-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
