NARKA - Henry Painter, an early settler of Narka, has just succumbed to a complication of diseases, including a mild attack of smallpox, contracted a few days before his death, which orrurred at the home of his daughter, whose children had just recovered from the malady. One other case is reported. A rigid quarantine is being maintained and many are being vaccinated.
