Russell Loy Bussert, 84, died in his residence on August 6, near Amboy. Mr. Bussert was born in Fulton County to the late Isaac and Tressia (Sprague) Bussert and was a lifelong resident of Amboy. He was a retired farmer and a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church, Somerset. He loved nature, fishing and traveling.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Vera, Amboy; four nieces, Cathy Suddarth, Marion, Phyllis Carter, Indianapolis, Mabel Sullivan, San Marcos, Texas, and Roxie , Spring City, Pa.; three nephews, Melvin (Pat) and Von (Zenith), both of Gas City, and Earl (Regina), Wabash; 13 great-nieces; and six great-nephews.
Services were held Saturday in Woodlawn United Methodist Church, Somerset.
Larrison-Martin-Duncan Funeral Home, Converse, handled the arrangements.
