She was born June 23, 1923 in St. Louis, the daughter of J.A. and Norma (Johansen) Langeneckert, who both preceded her in death.
She married Kenneth Greear. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons: Tim (Carol) Kuelker of Florissant, Keith (Rosalie) Kuelker of St. Charles, Jerry Greear of Knoxville; two daughters: Alice Greear of Nashville and Shirley Greear of St. Johns; 16 grandchildren: 10 great grandchilden and a goddaughter; a sister: Blossom (Norbert) Hogenmiller; three brothers: Robert (Mary) Langeneckert, Joe (Barbara) Langeneckert Jr. and Dick (Glenda) Langeneckert and other relatives and friends.
She is also preceded in death by a son: Jim Greear; a brother: Norman Langeneckert; a sister: Joyce Shapiro; and two sons in law: Jim Greear and Larry Madden.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday, January 21st, 2011 at the Wood Family Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
