Mrs. Sarah Kathrine Shriver, who died at her home in Grangeville, December 22, was the daughter of Alex Hennon, of Monongalia county, and was 66 years, one month and nine days old at the time of her death.
She was united I marriage to Jacob Shriver, and to this union were born seven children, five of whom survive. Mrs. Annie Cunningham, of Grangeville; Mrs. Ida Beaty [sic] of Logansport; Miss Nora Shriver, at home, Mrs. Maude Wells, of Joetown, Frank Shriver of near Grangeville.
She was converted at the age of 18 years and joined the M. E. church. In later years she united with the Baptist church at Grangeville, to which she was a faithful and consistent member till God called her to the Church Triumphant. Services were held at the Baptist church by her pastor, Rev. Rittenhour, of Morgantown, on December 24. Interment in the Hawker cemetery by Funeral Director F. H. Huey, of Logansport.
