Narcise Richards, aged 61 years a native and lifelong resident of North Biloxi in Jackson county, died this morning at 3:30 o'clock. He was one of the oldest residents of that section where he was held in the highest esteem by relative and friend of Harrison and Jackson counties. He leaves besides his wife, four daughter, Mrs. Agnes Simmons, Mrs. Theresa Elder and Mrs. Milley Holley, of Biloxi and Mrs. Ada Seymour of Jackson county, one son, Elmer Richards of Jackson county, three brother, Henry, Jacob and Jordan Richards of Jackson county and two sister. Mrs. Annie Scarborough and Francis Bellais of Biloxi. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from the late residence of deceased in Jackson county. Service will be conducted by Rev. P.G. Posey, pastor of the First Baptist Church and interment will be made in the Biloxi cemetery. Besides his immediate family Mr. Richards is survived by a large number of other relatives.
Omitted is the name of his wife, Emma Cruthirds Richards.
