She was born in McGuffey, Ohio, Feb. 19. 1916, the daughter of Wellington and Hazel Lewis Croy.
She was a member of the Sixth Street Christian Church of Middletown, Easter Star of Middletown, Henry County Homemakers Club and a sorority.
She and her husband Don operated Bickhams 5 to $1 Store in Middletown for 15 years and continued for an additional 15 years after Mr. Bickham's death.
She was a past president of the Middletown Chamber of Commerce and active in the Christian Women's Felloship.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, knitting and attending Walking Horse Shows.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Lee Bickham, a son, Robert Eugene Bickham, a brother, Kenneth Croy, two sisters, Helen Holtman and Juanita Furr.
She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Lee (Bickham) Mervine of Manchester, Tenn., four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. 5th St., Middletown with Rev. Maynard Powell of the Sixth Street Christian Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, east of Middletown.
